Yoga Nidra Post Script

Though the time that elapsed between my Yoga Nidra retreat and Stay-at-Home is only 30 days, it seems like a year. Yoga Nidra was the best tool I could have acquired in this brave new world of the corona virus, aka Covid19.

Oh how many things to feel anxious about, let me count the ways…

Needless to say, my insomnia marched right back with the spread of corona. But here is the good news: One 45 min session of Yoga Nidra equals three hours of sleep. So now when I wake up at 4 AM or 5 AM, feeling lousy, I go to the bathroom, go back to bed, make myself comfortable, turn on my laptop and find a Yoga Nidra talk-through on YouTube. There are lots.

Afterwards, I feel good, able to handle the challenges of the day. Yoga Nidra is now an indispensable part of my morning routine. It supplements an insufficient night’s sleep, which will help you keep up your immunity. Give it a shot!
